With 2nd place in the Final Four of the 3rd Landesliga, the Kepler Volleys not only secured the runners-up title, but also promotion to the 2nd Landesliga.

On Saturday the top three teams of the 3. Landesliga Ost met in the last gameday of the regular season. Since all three teams are within 3 points of each other, anything was possible. With a 3:1 win against both opponents, the Kepler Volleys are now on the top of the league, and qualified for the Final Four tournament on April 6th.

On Saturday we played the rematch against Oberbank Steelvolleys Linz-Steg 2 in the Kepler Hall. Despite playing on home grounds we had difficulties getting into the game. Fortunately, we still managed to score three important points for the leaderboard.

Unfortunately, we had to accept defeat for the first time in the league this season. DSG Union Gutau managed to beat us on their home grounds with a great performance. Our second game against Sportunion Leonding resulted in a clear victory, which puts us on 2nd place after seven out of 14 games played.

This weekend we continued our winning streak in the league and reached the top of the leaderboard with five wins in five games.

Every year all Upper Austrian volleyball clubs face each other in this elimination tournament. After winning 3:0 against Sportunion Wels we were not able to eliminate UVB Sparkasse Grieskirchen (2. Landesliga) in a very close game (2:3).
